The members of E Cell, IEDC, and IIC of the National College of Pharmacy invited Mr. Akshay Ashokan, Founder, and CEO of ImIoT TechnoLabs and ShareInfo, to share his life story and motivate the students. The program took place at the college premises on 29th October 2022 at 11:00 am. The members of E Cell made the arrangements for the program. By 10:45 am, the hall was packed with students wanting to listen to the speaker. The event started with a Presidential address by Dr. Akash Marathakam, vice principal of the National College of Pharmacy. Mr. Hadi Ayoob from the 4th-year hosted the event. Ms. Fathima Thahir, from 4th-year BPharm, gave an introduction about Mr. Akshay Ashokan, and then invited him to speak. Akshay started the talk with stories from his school and college days. Being as young as the audience in front of him, he was able to speak in their language. He broke the ice with his humor and was able to turn the session into an interactive one. By the end of the session, he had become a student just like everyone in front of him with his movie references and relatable stories. In between all the jokes, he was able to perfectly convey his message. Every single person in the hall was amazed by his achievements and his journey. He spoke of the struggles and joys that came with entrepreneurship life. He asked the students to always dream big, no matter what. By the end, he had inspired countless students to think about their dreams and work on making them come true.
All members of the E-Cell ensured that the program was conducted smoothly. The session was concluded by 1:00 pm.
